a New Shock Mitigation System

We have been asked by a British manufacture of shock mitigation units to test a new unit that has been modified for powerboat racing.

It is new and has been thoroughly tested by the Military for use in Afghanistan within their vehicles which could be blown up by roadside bombs. It effectively takes out the considerable shockwave coming up underneath the driver/passengers so in its de-militarised version should be equal to any G forces generated when racing at sea both laterally and vertically. It is adjustable from a body weight of 10 to 30 stone!

So, we are looking for someone to test this. It will mean finding a boat that already has seating and one that can be taken out into the rough to test in as near racing conditions as possible. Only the unit will be supplied, it would have to be bolted to the floor and to the existing seats.

PM me if interested in helping with the development of this really interesting unit.
