Done some testing with different propellers, fuelloads, ballast etc.
Best setup so far is 29"-16,75 propellers turning in. Top 90 mph at 3100rpm.
Tried the 32"-18 dia but as expected they were to big. Speedwise ok at 88 mph but only 2700 rpm. 77 in first gear.
Will look for some more used propellers to test on OSO before ordering racepropellers.

The weather is getting worse here in the northern part of Sweden so there is only a couple of more weeks to test.
Today the sun is shining but the wind is about 12-15 m/s with 2-2,5 m waves. Will need a larger bowtank for running in headseas.
The one fitted is only 150 liters and I think a total of at least 500 is needed.

Yep. Shockwave seatbases and raceseats.
The Shockwave-bases are very good but sitting down without belts is just not for me.
You move around too much with one hand one the throttle and one on the wheel.
Been racing mx/enduro for a lot of years and am used to stand up and take the shocks with the legs.
Also never had a "sitdown" boat. Only RIB,s with jockeyseats. Another thing is that you can see and read the sea much better standing up.
Made some tests in 4-6 ft waves before picking up the boat for the winter and for me it made a big difference standing up.

All good until you stuff it at speed - ask Shelley Jory about that!

Not much difference if you sit or stand...without belts.

The way I see it the difference is that it is harder to keep yourself from hitting the dash when you're standing that sitting - I can see the attraction in terms of being able to absorb the pounding better, and I know a lot of the old school boats were like that, good luck with the project, it looks like it's coming together nicely!
