Allhallows Yacht Club

Just had an email from Jay at Allhallows Yacht Club.

They're making a real effort there to get the whole 'powerboating' & racing thing back up to speed, this is obviously to be applauded and any support anyone can give to the club, including making the effort to race there whenever possible would be much appeciated by them.

They're in the process of re-vamping their website, with a new look logo etc, so take a look, and please give any support you can!

Racing Event at Allhallows

Quote:
In 22/23 July we are holding a National OCR race, Offshore Circuit Racing. There will be four 25 minute heats over two days as part of the British Championship. The boats are from two classes, 1.3 litre and 1.8 litre, with a field of around 12 boats.
Is anyone racing or going as a spectator ?

Unfortunately OCR will not be holding a National at Allhallows due to circumstances beyond our control !! We are now holding a second event at Burry Port instead.

We will be working hard to promote the club over the next 12 months, this will include the 2007 racing season with OCR, Class III and WaterSki Racing...

Full details for 2007 will be on our website as soon as the dates/venues are confirmed and we will also be posting all the events on Boatmad.. so watch this space

On another note, if there is anyone looking for an established boat club with excellent facilities then let me know as we have some good offers on at the moment. Family membership is £250 and joint membership is £210 without any joining fees.

Look at www.ayc.uk.com to see what you get for your money and the facilities that are available for members.
