As from 6pm tonight I'm in Holiday mode, so I get a new lease of life!

Flying out to Perpignan in the morning, 7 days in the sun with me ball and chain, looking at french thingies!

That actually is encouraging. As mentioned, I was probably ranting.

Re 75 mph and Cowes. It's one of the following or a combination - feel free to choose. I was:

a) pessimistic
b) lying
c) Being painfully honest

Still think it's a 'maybe 80' mph boat but depression gets the better of me most of the time. I am looking forward to getting rid of that stupid Gaffrig and replacing it with a good Sea Ray speedo though.

pursuit racing is great fun apart from one thing, if if all goes as it should everybody will finish at the same time....... So it will be a tie. Lucky that isn't the case, Did one at the RMYC yonks ago totally brill all ass about face.
Normally ya start and the boats dissapear well it's the otherway round, when ya start you see Jack but then you are always catching somebody. The time dont "arf" pass quick.
Yes there has always been the aurgument of the start as Ben rightly states but it's time for a wake up call "There aint nobody watching, & there needs to be more boats out there". Guys dont do racing for spector value anyhow, Its a compeditors sport, If ya aint done it your never know. Spectators only see a small part of it!
