As you can see from the above links the authorities and the media are 9 months out of date and the press have not had the decency to talk to the club just make assumptions.
Ben was out in our first basic race this year in March and won the opening K400 (fletcher 14) race with his brother Max.

To that effect there is now a fully documented syllabus and training programme approved by the said authorities with an indenpendent assessment for all racers in place.
The authorities seem to omit the fact that there were event risk assessments in place plus the developement of the classes constitued risk assessment by reducing risks of forseen hazards.
Rant over now, KCLASS is looking forward and have got 7 national championship rounds across the UK this year.
This weekend we mustered 12 teams across the classes and put on 6 races over 2 days at Allhallows.
The atmosphere was excellent the support from AYC second to none this is the spirit of the sport showing through.
On a technical none this was the fist ever MAIB investigation into a powerboat racing incident.
