Just checked the RM website, the Brass Monkey is on their calendar for the 6/7th February, but no other details.

Didn't run last year, due to snow and extreme cold.

seems quite a few are racing... Drivers Wharf saying that Gareth will be on the water in their new boat should be an excellent fun race... will the V28 be out?

As at 1600 this evening, there are insufficient entries received for it to be worth running the event. Not even double figures.
Cut off is 1600 Wednesday 3rd February 2010.

Hazel Cox has officially stated that we have till tomorrow (wednesday) to get 4 or more boats to race otherwise they will cancel thie Brass Monkey race... She needs them to be hard sided boats not ThunderCats though.. SO GUYS PLEASE GET YOUR BOATS ON THE WATER... ENTER NOW!! You cant blame officials and clubs for the state of racing if you wont show your support to such an historic race as this! If you have entered today please put your name down on this link and we can see how many more have entered.... It will be a shame if we cant freeze our nuts off at the end of B'mouth Pier to watch you all...
