Maybe scotty can get a lift from the skater, then he might stand a chance of winning the £50

I recon last year had one of the better turn outs for the Brass Monkey I've watched with quite a few P1 boats turning out for a pre season testing so maybe this year with P1 ever growing and the RB08 in full swing it may be a very exciting duel for the flag... weather permitting

Gordon will you be down to the BM again this year? tis a pity it's a Saturday it's really hard to get off work as it's the busiest day what with everyone making them new year resolutions and all however all being well I shall no doubt go to the Harbour Lights Pub balcony where I watched last year with you and a few other guys so anyone not on the pier I shall look forward to seeing you there as it really does have a great view across the whole course as it's high up but you will need a god pair of bins to get the most out of it

Look Out There`s A Carr Coming

Heard a racket coming down Soton water ,and sure enough this high speed navigation buoy appeared on a run over to Cowes and back.Presumably the odds shorten for an appearance this weekend.

The day, time and location of the reduced cost medicals are convieniently arranged so that no one taking part in the Brass Monkey can access them. Thus true racers, who will be on the water, or providing safety, will have to get their medicals at full cost from someplace else.
