couldn't agree more on that one.
You got to have one that provides the protection as noted in the standard. The price shouldn't come into it.
I hope all the entrants have taken on board the refinement to the rules though.

Ive got a roof helmet off adam, very comfy, nice thick visor and adjustable air vents, well worth the money imho.

I can't believe the flap you guys are getting into!!
ANY UK MARKETED GOOD QUALITY motorcycle helmet will meet the standard, many exceed it by a lot!
So, how much do you value your head?
I have 1 of Adam's roof helments - good value IMHO, and in the right colour. I also have a shoei xr 800 I've painted.
The only downside of the roof helmets is they are supposedly designed for fairly round heads - But they do have adjustable wedges in to alter the liner fit a bit.

Yeh, wicked, but I need bigger arms and to go faster!
Unfortunately didn't get properly out into the bay, it was shite conditions! Poked my head out a couple of times, but it struck me as boat breaking weatha, you could surf (no exaggeration) off those muthas, and that struck me as a bad thing.
