I quite often watch it from Ocean Palace, a chinese restaurant in Bournemouth. You can see absolutely nothing of the race, but the lunchtime buffet is excellent!!!!!

Depends .....
Versovio is a OK kinda italian place on the run down to the first mark at the chine. Tea place between boscome pier & Bournemouth about 300 yrd from the Boscome pier. Or from the car park on the prom access via boscome.
Car park at the old Imax..................

Marc popped into see me sunday, he said a good place to watch the race would be from a pub called harbour lights that is by the pier, he says there is a balcony overlooking the bay, as I have not been in there for about 3yrs I cant remember, but if there is a balcony this could be the ideal spot with food and bier, what more could you ask???

I forgot to point out this pub is on the 3rd floor so a good view should be available to all, it is not on the beach front but adjacent the pier
