Arrivals and scrutineering in Sandbanks Car Park. Signing in & Breifing in North Haven Yacht Club (who will be serving breakfast). Launching, recovery, signing off and Prizegiving at RMYC.

As of today, 14 definate entries + another 5 or so promises, but no paperwork yet....

Still intending to run it, despite:-
Gossip about floating containters from the Napoli
Bournemouth Pier is shut (timekeeping on a boat)

The weather is as unpredictable as ever, but worth giving it a go.

The boatyard is full of boats ashore for the winter. Having arrivals and scrutineering at the car park round the corner means there is more space before the race, and during launching. Afterwards does not matter so much, the top car park is completely empty and will be used for race boats and tow - vehicles after the race. We have run the Brass Monkey this way for at least 15 years. Seems to work.

Was hoping to be there but unfortunately can't now, hope everyone has fun though!
