COMINOFF elections

Hmmmmmn,

Gary the Manchester is a candidate for election as COMINOFF member.

The members of the COMINOFF are elected by the representative nations participating in offshore racing. Its brief is to study, draw up and enforce rules for offshore competition, assist in compiling the racing calendar and defining championship status, examine requests for record homologation and set up specific technical working groups and sub-commissions as necessary.

The UK are currectly not represented.

I would have thought that somebody who had raced offshore and not ocr would have been a better choice. But hey ho, keeps it all nice and close down at the office.

With the current courses, I'd like to allow 3C boats to run without a nav (but carry a weight penalty of course). There always seems to be a shortage of half decent navs.

We run the 250 class without navs, as you say not easy to get them these days....
