Maybe. It's about time, the doors at London Road Sittingbourne closed over 8 years ago after all.

40 years is long enough for anyone to be the best.

9100 RPM 2:1 Sportmaster !! New F2 is awesome as expected running 103 all the way through run could have let go of the steering wheel !! Absolutely faultless.

Many thanks for all your positive comments.

Bob
Well done again Bob, mental speeds!
That must be one good hull to get those speeds.

Cool, so if the tacho is accurate and prop pitch is bang on, you saw 8% slip. very cool.

8% slip is an awesome slip number. The hull must be very clean running and the prop smack on to get that number at 100+

Yes, assuming 26.000000000 inches of pitch and 9100.00000 RPM

Very cool numbers Bob. Respect.

Pictures from this week are now up on Malcolm's Gallery. http://malcolmsphotos.fotopic.net/

I would also like to add my congratulations to Bob and his team. We'll just have to find him another skier!

the e-tec powered sl250 broke the record today, 121.05mph. Not bad for a stock engine.

Coniston - Video's clips on-line

I've posted a few clips/tasters from this years records week at Coniston.

Coniston Records Week Videos

The weather this year was pretty tough, with a lot of wind and rain, but still there was some breaks with some flat water. The Friday morning gave perfect conditions for about 3 hours with some of the flattest water of the week.

If you were running and want copies of your footage, then e-mail me martin@cumbrialive.tv

I have most of the runs from Monday morning, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday morning, as well as pits footage etc.

The Wednesday clip shows one of Bob's 100+ Mph runs, when things got a little dodgy, the following run was faultless and got the new speed.

Enjoy.
Martin

ps. use the FF tab to skip from one clip to the next. There are four clips one for each day above. If you visit the CumbriaLive.tv site, and click on Ted Walsh's boat you can see other clips from previous years.

Enjoy.
Martin

Well done Bob

Was it your boat I saw around 10:30 this morning heading down the M6, towed by a motorhome?
