A little bit of information on Cowes this year:

The Gillette MACH3 NITRO Gel Powerboat P1 British Grand Prix (Rounds 7 & 8 of the 2005 UIM Powerboat P1 World Championship) is the feature event of a spectacular three-day festival of racing with more than 70 boats expected to compete in a series of championship events. The organisers, KBL Powerboat Management Ltd, aim to establish the British Grand Prix as one of sports' blue riband events and promise action-packed racing, glamour and entertainment for all.

Not sure what it will mean for all classes as the Gillette part seems to be very much for the P1 event - which is not surprising really.

Just hope that the rest of us get treated a bit better than in the past!
