Defo Fantastic to have these 3 new contenders ... would of been even more fantastic if they were all competing in the same class being roughly the same size and all multi stepped mono's ... the 6ltr max engine size class kind of reminds me of the old class 2 mentioned on another thread given the M designation, although they tended to tune their engines quite a lot more which probably reduced reliability somewhat

I heard an unconfirmed second hand rumour that the Boss wasn't going to be ready - that would be a shame , please tell me it's not true?
Will try and put more photos of the progress up later - the motors have arrived though!

Fly Navy
(Don't tell Chris Davies - He will being trying to get a ride)!
Been there, done it. I flew one with Eric Michell (FM TV) when we filmed the Pro Vee race which took place inside the Artic Circle in Bodo. It's the only cab that can fly backwards, at least I think that's what happened, it was after mid-night when the race started!!!

Safety Boats
John,
Perhaps I have lost the plot but would it be worth re-iterating on Boatmad who to talk to about volunteering for safety ? Volunteer safety boat cover and marshalling are so vital. As I recall it was Amanda, but perhaps this has now changed ?
Keep up the good work !

Thanks Simon. Due to personal reasons Amanda has had to step down from this one, but will be at Cowes.

John I just want to say what a fantastic job you and the other organisors are doing. Folks like me take it for granted that 'someone else' will organise it - we just turn up and participate or in my case, spectate and record for posterity. I take my hat off to you. I hope I can buy you a beer next month!
