God that yachting looks fun, must buy 1. Can anyone tell me do you get all those good looking clothes thrown in when you buy the boat, especially those hats.

Bit kinky these yachties!! who's the girl at the back, in the orange top with the gimp mask on??

Sorry it might not be a gimp mask, maybe a garmin GSP cover..not sure!!

In case anyone hasn't heard, its no longer Round The Island, but a multi-lap race on the "P1" circuit, west of Cowes. This due to representations from "authority" about concerns over number of boats on the water (pleasure/spectators), & safety.

Just to bring a few details up to date, the Basic race briefing will be at 09.15, and will be held in a tent/marquee adjacent tothe honda race unit in the dry pits.

All Basic entry competitors (event licence racers) intending to race at this event must contact the race organisers ASAP if they haven't already entered, to check all details, and organise signing in etc. Let's try and make it as easy as we can for the guys & gals woeking on the admin and organisation, by getting everything sorted as earlyas possible, and double check with them for anything you may need to sort, or bring.

I think it was great to have two '69' boats on the water...

Yeh, especially when they're both white batboats and we didn't make the start, therefore those who don't know the boats so well (such as my sister and co.) were cheering along V69 then congratulated dad for winning!
Great race though Marc, both your boat and driving are fantastic to watch
