Well, we will be running the CTC 1972 DVD at the Ball which is the one I found in Tim Powells attic, "Greatest Powerboat Race in the World" - who said that on that film?
Now, someone somewhere must have those W.D. & H. O Will Putney Calais Putney films, so, who has them and lets have them. I do have a Video in my loft ( amongst several others from the 1980's) of the 1984 and 1985 Putney Calais, I think they are on the Boatmad gallery though.

When the Powerboat Ball is over and hopefully "other things" have been resolved I will be getting in touch with that silly young lady to see if we can take this any further. Whats the point of those fabulous films rotting away in some dark dusty cabinet when we should all be enjoying them?

Might well take you up on that offer, we are building two stand up bolsters behind ours (as in the attached pic) so will get back in touch nearer the time and talk it through. Have you got life jacket and helmet?

Engines out being "seen to". Hull being strengthened inside and quite a lot of other stuff being done to ensure reliability as our game plan is RB12, eventually. Should all be ready for her first run this year at the Cancer Research Race in June.

Hey, what about Alan, at 71 he's training right now for the London Marathon(see BPRC web site for sponsorship) and i'm doing three miles every morning round the country lanes here on my bike, when it's not raining that is! We might be the oldest team (combined ages 200 years) but we will probably be the fittest

3 miles? Call yourself an athlete man? Lance Armstrong will be doing 80-100 per day.

Lanyards for the Cowes Powerboat Festival.
I know times are tough but I am looking for some help with Lanyards. Last year I had a surplus from the RB08 of FPT Lanyards but have really run out of those so I need about 1,000 suitably emblazoned with the name of the company of whoever is willing to offer them to us at zero cost but you would have the publicity and exposure as every race team member and oficial will have to be wearing them. Anyone interested in helping us with this please PM me.
ML.
