Ctc , Cowes 100

Hi Guys HELP PLEASE! As in previous years i intend to walk the "Milford Shinglebank" to Hurst Castle for an unriveled view of the C100,CTC boats as they pass to the start and return to cowes, Now as a motor race marshal i use a Radio Scanner to monitor Race contro/race rescue etc, Does anyone out there Know what frequency and wave band ie FM, WFM, AM , Cowes race control operates on , And wil i be able to pick them up on a scanner?? Looking forward to this one very much , So to listen in to whats going on would be a bonus. I hope you all have a safe race! Give us a wave at Hurst!!
Kind regards Colin

Are you sure it's not M2, 161.425mhz (P4 on an Icom)? This is the normal channel for Race Control, with Marshal boats reporting in on M1.

It will be one or the other, and will be announced at Safey and Drivers Briefings.
