The 25 places on the subsidised ferry have now i hear been filled. THIS DOES NOT MEAN WE HAVE CLOSED ENTRIES it will unfortunately just cost more to get there.
I personally feel if you are only going to do one race this year then this should be it, we have got a lot going on and it should be great, please continue to support this event even if only as a spectator lets hope the weather and ferry wash are kind to all!!

And so Kevin, you start off by getting Brian Peedell, Chairman of ORDA, to write to me and say that if I dont write an appology to you personally *and* appologise on BOATMAD for the comments I have made about the Guernsey event you will ban me from the Guernsey event?

Nothing like *not* mixing up some controversey then?

As I stated earlier, I was not sure if I was going to race this year. Too much sh1t from too many small minded people! BUT !!! You have made up my mind for me - Nothing like a challenge hey. I will definately be racing this season, and I will definately be going to the Guernsey event ( even though I have 'missed' the special and will now have to pay £600 to take the boat accross! )

See you in Guernsey mate!

Rule 1: The organisers reserve the right to refuse entry to races.

Lets see how that stands up in court? I would argue that any event that refuses me entry would not be allowed to gain points for the National Championships. I figure the courts will see it that way as well. What is the point of a National Championship if an organising club can restrict entries?

Is this what Guernsey is going to do for the worlds? I can see how restricting some entries can help.

Problem is that the law will override the rule, especially when your reason for attempting to restrict my entry is that my comments on Boatmad have upset some official in Guernsey, and if I write a public appology for my camments you will let me race. That will go down really well in court.

Exclamation

I'm very sorry that you have taken this tone Marc, However I do not feel this Forum is the best place to discuss the matter, or, in anybody's interest whatever their choice of version, Can you now please address all relevant information relating to this matter to Brian Peedell or Shirley Simpkins (Chairman / Secretary) either by letter or by email and I will request that they do the same to you.
The threat of court action is of course up to you, but we are not doing anyone any favours placing such words on this forum be them either true intentions or not.
Thank you
Charlie Sumner
Treasurer ORDA.

Should be doing Blade Run again but may be in something bigger as i'm trying to buy a boat for RB8. Looking like its going to have tubes round it. ( scream in horror )

Would like to get over in May if possible.
