Sorry I should of explained - I assume that he is running an Italian licence racing in Italy with Val which would exclude him from National races?

Surely racing in an International event would be possible if the Italian licence is an international one?

Canopy boats ARE allowed for Basic Races!

It clearly says that in the PB1 rules I gave to everyone!

They just have to have a measurement certificate.

So, any V24's and indeed any other canopy boat (im hoping for some x-cats) are very welcome to come and race in any of our Basic Races next year.

We are looking at staging 8/10 Basic Races next year.

And yes Cliff, you can come over and beat our round the island record again, ill make sure we do it officially this time with stop watches, prizes and champagne etc etc!!!

Don't wanna be using that, you need to be on freight. We should be able to get a good price, it usually costs me around £500 with something 25ft, including a cabin for the night, could be cheaper though if there's a group of you coming.

Cheers, James
