I reckon it's as safe as my shares in Woolworth

Perhaps one of the Honda racers could update

i definatly know General Motors are, at the recent LA auto show they had a unmanned stand with no spokespeople, no press conference. they was supposed to be launching the Cadillac CTS coupe but because of money issuse they couldn't.

And on the Chrysler stand there weren't even any lights so it was all in darkness.

i think a couple of gearboxs in a honda F1 car would be worth more than the whole boat series.

Sometimes it not about how much is spent running a team or series it is the ethic. Example we are going to lay of a thousand people & put the factory on extended holidays & reduce to a 3 day week. To continue with a race team or series sends a message to the staff.

I hope they do keep the faith and continue with the series

The big 3 have been assured of funds ... Quote ...Racing to seal a deal with the White House, Democratic congressional leaders dispatched aides Saturday to draft an emergency $15 billion aid package to pull Detroit's Big Three automakers from the brink of collapse.

The US know that letting GM, Chrysler, Ford car company's go down would cause wide spread panic with millions of jobs lost, a massive knock on effect in the engineering capacity of the US would be seen, it may also take Brunswick down as well which would just about finish off boating state side with no more Merc products

I have heard that Honda is fully sponsored for next year, and will get an amount for 2010.

Thereafter...

To put this into perspective, I live near to Brackley.

There is a little sandwich shop that supplies Honda F1's employees every lunch time.

The lady that owns it works real hard, charges nice prices.

When I spoke to Steve he felt that the series could run for at least another year, although until he's back in the UK he can't confirm that.

Honda budget for F4SA.

As the crews how much it cost them a year to enter and what help they get with parts and assistance, Ithink a lot of people will get a shock.
