Honeyparty P1 trouble???

Honeyparty owner Richard Carr hits the bumper's
http://www.thisisbournemouth.co.uk/d...rr_trouble.php
seems the recession is taking it's toll, although most people in Poole knew the nightclubs were in trouble but saying 1/3 of his wealth was at stake would make it likely to effect spending on his P1 challenge this season

He says retail is going to feel the bite guess I better tighten the belt

JUST MY OPINION BUT...
That would not surprise me, I had assumed it was the sales section a completely different company to the manufactures that were doing the sponsorship and Braithwaite and co were just allowing under sufferance but I have to say as things have not been going well with the boat at the bottom end of the race table and towards the back of the Super Sport fleet must have really aggravated Braithwaite he would hate seeing a little boat whizzing round at the back of the fleet emblazoned with the words Sunseeker all over it not his idea of a Sunseeker image around the world...to me it seems no coincidence that Harry's son (previous owners of the Sales section since day 1)a keen speed freak in his rally car never raced a Sunseeker his dad knew the consequences

I mean no disrespect to the hard working guys racing and maintaining the race boat I am sure they have all done their very best and hopefully they will be able to emblazon the sides of the boat with a new sponsor should the need arise

PS... should I ever own an 2000XS I would have the sign say Buzzi-Sunseeker

Richard Carr (Honeyparty) gives a very frank interview
http://www.bournemouthecho.co.uk/ech....38115.0.0.php
The interview is 25mins long on the events that set in motion his downfall, at the very end he points to the possible end to his powerboating plans, so it would seem CTC and P1 are very unlikely

Yes I did wonder that myself, however Richard Carr has always purchased his own boats ( with the banks money)perhaps with the exception of his 13'6'' Shakspeare, so I personally recon he said that on record so the creditors did not go after it or try to include it in the banks settlements, if you read the comments after the written interview many are very venomous talk about kinking a man when he's down

Richards Carrs woes continue, now the administrators are chasing him for a 1.4m transfer of money to himself, could make life a little uncomfortable for him over the coming months and put pressure on next years P1 challenge should he of entertained entering
