Hi There,
Does anyone have any suggestions on ideal petrol engines that fall into Class D regulations.
Many thanks

Thinking of moving up to Class D then Cookee?

That would be good as we need some more competition, bit lonely there right now although I doubt you would be much of a threat with your smoky, chug chug diesels.

Just wondering what we have to beat!

As a racer I would never be happy with racing one or two boats, and the more scalps I can take from boats with more power the better! Smoky chug chug diesels are coming to get you Mike!

How bout two of these: http://www.vw-m.de/index.php?id=53&L=1&tx_prisnews_pi1[action]=detail&tx_prisnews_pi1[uid]=27

Should be quite amusing crossing the finish line an hour ahead of OldMan, topping up the diesel tanks, having a beer and then seeing him crossing the finish line with oily fingers and only one engine running... Best part will be observing his credit card being properly buggered at the petrol pumps, though

In RB08 9 out of the top 10 boats had inboard diesels... I know what we will be choosing

Blimey, if you can afford two of those you deserve to win!!

We know that it's modern thinking to run with diesels but we aren't modern and don't give a toss so we will carry on running with petrol’s and you know what they say about statistics.
