Irish Race

Clogherhead, Ireland on the 17th July. Cross border basic race, similar to Bobs offshore 2011.

Love to have as many boats over from the UK as possible.
I will be speaking to ferry companies to see what discounts we can get.
But if anyone interested can let me know soon, so we can get an idea of no's.

The race coincides with the local festival and looks to be a pretty good weekend, with outdoor entertainment, live music and all the usuall festival goings on
http://www.clogherheadprawnfestival...._master-page-1
Promises to be a good weekend on and off the water.

From talking to Bob, it will fill a long gap between UK races before Charlestown in Aug. which a group of us are hoping to make it to.

Anyone interested or looking for any more info, either post here or get in touch.

I'll have race instructions as soon as they are approved.

Bob, spoke to ISA during the week and they have a deal in place with Stena line for racers traveling between UK and Ireland.

Will get more info and costs on this during the week.

Thanks,
Alan

Update

Update, still negotiating ferry companies for better discounts.

Have 10% off on Stena Line bookings agreed.

Speaking to Irish Ferries again this morning.

Regarding the race and Festival, some more info here.
http://www.clogherheadprawnfestival..../vstc17=page-3

Its certainly looking like its going to be a great weekend, with good entertainment in the evenings.

To all those that have gotten in touch, I hope to have ferry details by this weekend.

Camping will be available on site or locally.

Again, anyone looking for race instructions or travel info, get in touch.
Or if anyone needs help with boat or secure storage before or after race, we can arrange it.
