That's for a National Championship.

GEE is insured fully comp wherever she is racing, would it be dearer to do that than pay for a service that by your own past admission you are not getting, I don't know, people in cars kill other people everyday, I wouldn't call boat racing that dangerous but you haven't got all this health and safety crap attached to your car insurance, same again with bike racing and para gliding, drag racing, I could go on, but you get my point

The RYA insurance is for third party - ie if you run into a spectator boat they will get paid out by the RYA, all competitors sign a disclaimer so that we cannot be held liable for damaging each others boats in a race. I am impressed you can get racing insurance and would be interested in some details of what's covered and who's doing the coverage as I'm sure others would be interested in that.

I'm sure it's Knox Johnson. They do sponsor us as well, I'll ask Chris next time I see him, I do know that we don't need the rya for there insurance, it was said you can drive through cowes if you want we are covered, needless to say I respect the old girl enough to look after her, I won't forget John

Not sure of the relevance of 5 boats ? Although I am fairly confident we will have at least 5 in each class !!
3b can race at some venues or as OCR b class ! We plan to Persue and build on the OPUK Championship but as I said the 3b clubs did not want to be a part of it so maybe you should take that up with your club.

Yep it has always been an offshore class and with typically a 18-19' phantom underneath and a 150HO Etec on the back you can certainly have a lot of fun too..........

So Penaenmawr(North wales), Allhallows, Eastbourne, Christchurch, Poole, Weymouth and Torquay are no longer offshore????? The closed water events have guaranteed racing especially with multi classes including juniors when others can't.
Oh well ya try and think positive, put racing in a good light and someone comes along to undermine things and we just thought it was the fault of the RYA.
