Just deserts
My contacts at Scotland Yard have confirmed today, that the bounder who was involved in the cowardly act of woman beating over the new year has finaly been charged with the offence. He is a well known member of this forum and is a leading light at the RYA.

We all know who he is so why post such things under a false name, and why not put his name up instead of just stiring

I agree with Tim.
Are the soaps on TV so dull, that you are posting?

I think i sussed this one out a while ago.
He comes on here, but has'nt posted since before Christmas, if i'm right.
I thought that everyone agreed to keep out of this as its personal stuff, to the individual?

Totally agree, airing dirty laundry in public is rather silly really.
Its a private matter let it be.
Un biast on all sides, but I hope the situation works itself out.
By the way Gazza, what is that image you use for your avatar?

I got to get out more. I thought that was one of your new summer toys.
Cheers for the nice comments, its nice to wish for something when I was 17 and then to finally have the luck and friends to help me get to it, albeit a little older.
Got there in the end though.

Never mind the Avatars. At least Sherlock Holmes has had the balls to spill some of the beans. Many of us know 'some' of the story, but the person concerned is unlikely to "fall on his sword".
