You must have been waiting ALL day for someone to say something!

As for me, well I wasn't asked...

Quite clearly I am not good enough!

Had the same feeling in the late nineties when I was chucked off the Technical Working Group when a new ORC Chairman took office.

I was not asked either but still ended up on the S & T with 3 others from the former team.

To be honest, it is a relief. I also find it rather amusing how I lost favour with certain people - it was only a matter of time even if Pennpromo had continued!

Offshore Racing Committee
Does not seem too bad: 5 good ones, 1 bad one, one unknown and one in the balance...

Safety and Technical
Hmmmmn: four good, two bad and two unknown to me

Media & PR
This should be a good working group?

Course Approvals
Possibly some more interesting courses getting approval now? Perhaps the clubs should take advantage and be more imaginative with their courses, and:
1) actually get to use the navigator as a navigator and not a turn bouy spotter.
2) add in some technical difficulty for the driver.
3) do something for the few 'crowd' that occasionally appear.

No it was the "God Father" or was it " The Deliverence" cuz I reckon we'll all be squealing when they've finished.

I know it a dumb question but on the Main & safety comms there are 8 members to each, what if you have a tie on voting, chair has double bubble casting vote? or do they ask the audience / phone a friend

So thats 3 people from 1 team in charge. Conflict of intrest????? IMHO there should be no currently active racers in the position of having a casting vote. Okay we must have a drivers rep from the classes, but would have thought this person should be appointed by THE RACERS not a committe.

CB1, I suspect the ORC and sub-committees were not entirely selected by the respective Chairmen
