I hate being wrong. I used 1.15 whereas the correct number is 1.1508. What a tool!

That is an impressive speed.
If I did that in a mono with 200hp i think i would start getting a few questions about my motor eligibility ! Lol
If I had another 60hp i'd ave a go.

The difference is Bob did it in a mono in far from ideal conditions !!!
This was in a Cat in near perfect conditions, water like glass and a temperature near to freezing !!!

Record Week

Looking forward to watching Record Week this year from the shore.

It will be my first time at Coniston.

My best memories from Windermere are driving an Argo Cat 18' with a Yam 90hp at 82.9 mph in one direction.

Running over the measured kilo, we had the motor jacked up so high it had no water.

We still had the over heat buzzer wired in, my memory still is beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee all the way down the lake.

Near to freezing, dude the record was set in Norrtälje (Stockholm) and not no the North Pole.
