Orda - 2006

Just a small preview of our plansfor 2006!

Much is happening and really pleased how the whole committee is working so hard to improve racing.

- For the moment we can confirm that our two traditional races at Torquay and Littlehampton will run as normal. However we are also looking at running either one or two more events next year.

- We are aiming to run two races at each venue, with a National race on the Saturday and a basic on the Sunday.

- We are going to bring entry fee's down! The intention is to be able to charge £150 for the weekend - across the board / classes. Prices for the basic race coming down to £50! (plus licences) This is a major step forward and a big reduction on previous years.

- We will be running an ORDA Championship as well, with both races from the weekends counting.

We are trying everything to improve racing - so please support us where you can. We need to push up membership as well and hope more of you will join.

Many thanks
Adam

It's all ready to rock - I can put news items & updates in it in seconds, plus you have the username & password to do it as well.
It is getting a reasonable bit of traffic through it.

Thoughts....

On the website:

You could put the advanced notices of the dates etc as soon as possible to help with planning for the year.

You could offer something like a £10 discount for entries paid for 3 months in advance? Or paid before the start of the year?

You could publish the course and entry forms on the web so that we could download, print and submit, rather than waiting for the post?

If you would like any help with the website, I know someone who can do stuff...

I agree with you, and the framework is in place to support all of your points.
