Being lapped is going nice? weird!

Phantoms were made in in Sittingbourne, England, not Malta.

Shame it spent so much time 'flying' yesterday, maybe if it hadn't, it would have performed a little better.

looks like you only had cash 2 spend 1 night in a BB :-), Paul was running good at saturday, a bit underpowered and way to choppy on sunday. Thats racing Jon Fuller.... look at ocean dragon, going good on saturday, and when the For1 rib didnt had engine problems, it would lapped ocean dragon at sunday... perfect race conditions for the flanders rib.

Well, I've read this a couple of times and haven't got a clue what you're talking about!

And with respect to the chaudron, I was actually refering to the yellow factory boat, not the family cruiser from Brighton.
The yellow factory boat, is presumebly a 'pure race' setup, and is the finest in set up, construction, and driving that they have to offer.
They were lapped in the flat water of the first race, and would probably have been lapped twice in the rough Sunday race, had they finished.
They spent more time with their bow at 90 degrees to the Ocean than any other boat out there.

Maybe they'll do better when they get the Cougar 38 hull up & going, as long as they dont interfere with it's design like they did with the Phantom 28, as attempting their own design input isn't their strong point. ..in fact, it's right down the bottom of their 'strong point list' along with honesty and plugmaking.
Maybe they should get Cougar to set it up for them too.

At least this boat will be 'legitimate' and not 'borrowed' like all their others.

Can't comment on 'Ocean Dragon', wasn't really watching it, or you.

Not only a really nice bloke, WHAT A RACER/DRIVER! feel real sorry to let Miles down, but my back went 75% into lap 1 on sunday, shame because Miles had us in a great position. My years playing Ice Hockey caught up, all in one momment.

Like to say thanks to Miles for riding with me & a very big thanks for showing me how to drive it properly. Top BLOKE!!

Cheers & in pain

Paul

I think we need a re-inactment of his once famous 'powerboat impressions'.

One of the funnyest things i've EVER seen, was his Lamborgini impression, followed by his Johnny Hampton impression, followed by him throwing a full bowl of water out of an upper story window of a Guernsey resteraunt, over the heads of two Island coppers below, followed closely by his arrest, and deportation from the Island.

that was '92 I think.

This is for John ... spectacular Chaudron stuff!

The impact ripped their helmets off forcing them to stop. Great series of pictures on the P1 website

After seeing this I think I got off lightly with just a very sore lower back.

Boats absoluely fine after 2.1 races.
