In fairness I can imagine a lighter and more powerful engine would be a benefit to the hull and driveability...Have to say that GMC and I tried a 3 blade cleaver on the yellow peril which held her in good shape and gave us excellent stability. Admittedly 'only' 67 but with 30 stone in the boat??

I think the thing is that tits don't sell the sport... there needs to be a fundamental change and that isn't it.

It is an anachronistic and desperate old form of marketing!

There is a huge drop in circuit racing this year and a big think tank needs to happen...

The sport needs to rethink and that needs to be 'out of the box'...not just rely on old style tactics of sexist marketing...even F1 has put the babes behind the scenes now...it's all about selling the experience!

Yep sorry I slipped up with a bit of support and constructive (for once) criticism...

But we did identify that using the 3 blade cleaver brought serious stability; stopped the usual 'out of control' feeling and porpoising...we could trim out as far as we could and not raise the bow...but only losing speed instead. It was amazingly different and didn't effect the cornering...just a bit of feedback for the pot....I'm not sure what they are using for props.

But if you want to see a the better option check out www.xcat.tv

Also by the way, I have just done all the costings for the year for Rock Racing and the total bill; including the purchase of the boat and running costs and taking the prize money into account was about the same as it would have been for me to enter Superstock and changing engine....now I reckon that running well over 100mph into the Palm Jumeirah, the Sun the sea and the fantastic accommodation was a better option.

I think more people should consider it as it is not as expensive as people think, it has the biggest fleet in the World, you race against the top racers in the World and they are passionate out there....

CP Racing can provide a new boat or even just the hull...for you to rig at a fraction of the cost of the other manufacturers..built by the loving hands of Dobby and Phil.

With respect no tits out there of course...(you get banged up for that) just 21 boats (in a recession and with all the new modifications enforced for crew safety!) and a start run that really makes the hairs stand out of yer neck...

Then leave this site and go to pornhub.com ..you are obviously more interested in sex than racing!

When you have visited pornhub.com for 5 sessions see if the rule of diminishing marginal utility has finally set in ...and if you don't know what that means then go to Google and look it up...

Or perhaps you could upload a film and let us all have a laugh!! It wouldnt be the first time people closely associated with that scene have done that eh?

Ha ha!!

Hi Mark

Was watching that clip a few days ago, you are right about the new engine transforming the boat, but don't really understand why. When I heard the were to 300hp some 33% increase power and only 40kg lighter I would have expected it to be a recipe for disaster, but that is clearly not the case. Surely a 40 Kg engine weight change can't make that much difference alone. Why does it make such a difference, any know ???

Your weight is less and lower down for one,the 4stroke wastop heavy and too heavy as was,put 40kgs in a basket on your head and try and climb a ladder, now strap it round your backside and climb the same ladder, see any difference? Basic geometry around your fulcrum, rear end, transom,as the meercats say.

Yes indeed but it sorted the sheep from the goats...those that could keep it upright and those that couldn't!

But then I suspect it was only a matter of time for me....

I look at the tiny 280 efi's on the xcat and then the big boy on the Honda boat...but I'll tell you one thing...the Honda engine started first time after being on Gavin P's farm over a cold winter and without charging the battery...after 9 months!

try that with a Merc 2 stroke!!! cough splutter choke choke and smoke smoke!

Honda were cute on the environmental front and this race industry is dead in the water unless it adopts the green programme as the car industry has.

Sound dull?
