Evening.. this is a really long shot but i know there are lots of people with a huge amount of information about racing days past.
i am trying to track down the history of some old trophies and wondering if i put some information about years, names and in some cases, boat names.... any information would be greatly appreciated.

As per my message, pretty sure Columbine is a Sam Saunders jobbie, will check tonight. Columbine shed still stands in East Cowes I think.

Howard, I've been logging some of the history of the Royal Motor Yacht Club trophies, this is a few years taken from the Camden trophy, some of the winners match one of your trophies.
1987 Chris & Dave Allenby – Assagai
1988 Alastair McNulty & Charles Holmes – Vladiver
1989 Steve Bourn & Dave Andrews – Marina UK
1990 Neil Holmes & Jim Cox – Fina Unleaded

Many thanks All,
Would be interested in speaking with any of the names shown below (appreciate this is likely to be the more recent years) to try and track down a bit more information.

1987 Peter Armstong / Brut ORDA London Brighton Race 1st Overall 1st Class 2
1987 David Allenby / Assagai ORDA London Brighton Race 1st Class 3
1988 Neil Holmes / Jim Cox / Fina ORDA London Brighton Race 1st Class 3
I have matched these to the ORDA London Brighton races of '87 /'88 - Makes sense Peter Armstrong lived down that way and ran the event.
Peter now lives in Spain, whilst the other chaps are all still about!
