Sounds good, we're ok for V24s and upto 2L classIII.

We've done KClass records twice now and have succefully established and broken records in the classes over that time.

My oldest son, now 11, established the K200 record 3 years ago and now holds the K250 Pier to Pier record from last year. The outright speed record is held by K9 on Connitson

the Course is established as there are two transit points at the piers, it'll be great to host other classes too.

I think it may well be any production class of boat, the limit is due to crane capacity at Salterns I think.

I asked because I'm sure, weather permiting, there'd be a few pleasure boats that would like an 'official' speed certificate.

Me, XS-IF, TD...??

Yes, I'd love to run the boat on Coniston, but there's a little problem of 300 miles, and an illegal weight (4 tons with trailer), that put me off. Bournmouth Pier to Pier is a tad nearer, and I can go by water.

TD's cat is too wide too.

Does this mean boats such as Mr Wrethams 1050hp fountain couldn't take part?

Mmmh its a good job the lakes are up north else we'd have lost out to the south again, probably why no one from around here races due to most venues being to far away.
