Race Life Jackets Idea

Having watched the Moto GP the other day I discovered that the hump in the back of their leathers now has an Air bag that inflates in an accident-I'm not sure what triggers it but thought that if something could be deployed in the collar or chest area of a race life jacket in the event of an ejection from the boat perhaps triggered from the kill cord or as in gas life jackets when they hit the water, this could perhaps be used to ensure the person is righted and their head/mouth is clear of the water.I know the normal collar is supposed to do this but from what I can gather it doesn't seem to work or at least not every time.It also might allow the race jackets to be not so bulky just having body armour like jet skiers wear-I know the canopied boats are allowed inflatable life jackets but not sure if manual or auto so perhaps there is scope to improve the current set up.Just a thought.Nic
