RB11 is not a go

Despite our best efforts there were not enough teams willing to pay their deposit in the timeframe required for this race to go ahead. I would like to thank the teams that paid (See you in Monaco).... and I would like to say a big thankyou to all the people and officials that got the race this far.

All racers have been communicated to and all deposits are being returned.

Many thanks for the understanding shown from the racers that had entered.... appreciate the supportive emails and phone calls.

Hopefully the current apathy in powerboating will disappear in time for people to support and enjoy the Cowes Monte Carlo race in 2013.

Rb 2011

Trying to put together an initiative like RB 2011 takes enormous energy and commitment and no small amount of front end cost. I am sure that, like me, members not only appreciate all the hard work and unbridled enthusiasm Dean put into this but, also, overcoming disappointment through his wholehearted commitment to the Monte Carlo 2013. Thanks Dean.
