record ratified - finally....
Yesterday the Union Internationale Motonautique finally ratified my world speed record, and have issued the record number. It is now officaily official!

Well done! Next bit is to find the euros for the oil painting / certificate, I think my last 2 cost 600 euro.
Gallery in Caterham then charged me a further £100 to frame 'em!

Already paid the fee two years ago for the pier to pier record, but they disallowed that record then, as the pier to pier was not a 1km run or a 1 mile run as defined in the rules. ( it is longer... )
