Richard Carr
So the rumour I heard a little while ago is true Richard Carr is going to be racing Evolution P1 this year in a Skater racing for Team Skater.

Dunno if it's true about the 'Team Skater' bit, but yes, I believe he has a 39 Skater being built as we speak.
Pascoe is his 'Bitch' again.

Just a guess but I doubt it would be any sort of twin prop setup if the boat is set up for Evolution class. More likely a No. 6 or surface drive of some type.

I think it's running 'Chief' motors, and would imagine, as Ben says, #6's, but I'm really just guessing there.

Well it seems fairly official as they are now listed on Powerboat P1's website as a fully commited team for the 2007 campaign and I doubt whether they would release that info if it was not true.

Quite right Cookee.
I saw it right after I posted. They're listed as ExtremeBoat.com which is a site all about Mike, Jackie and the boat, it says Arpro are still sponsoring them is this right?
Well worth a visit to the site.

You are right there Jon, Mark and Richard have entered their boat into the Round Britain and very excited they are too. They are listing their total HP at 1500.

We are racing, but ARPRO is not the sponsor this year.
Hopefully we will have that sorted in the next few weeks, or it will be us sponsoring ourselves

Same thing happening in Belgium Robbie ! I'll be racing in Malta wildcard with UK entry...and after that... racing my Belgian team, also wildcard sad enough. But hey...we are racing... and that's the good part ! possitive thinking.

Taken from MBY.
New British challenge in P1 Evolution
RaceteamSkater UK pilots Richard Carr and Paul Sinclair are to race a brand new Skater 399 powered by Chief engines and Arneson surface drives, in the 2007 Powerboat P1 World Championship.
The boat, currently under construction in carbon/Kevlar epoxy composite at the Skater HQ in Douglas, Michigan, is the first all-British entry in Evolution, a class traditionally dominated by the top Italian teams. The new challengers for the P1 title are one of the most experienced racing teams in international powerboating with countless years of offshore racing know-how from Class III to Class I. Team sponsors and boat livery are still to be announced.
