Round Britain Powerboat Race 2008 Reunion.

Round Britain Powerboat Race 2008 Reunion.

The British Powerboat Racing Club, which is now the mother club for the RB08, has kindly offered to host a reunion luncheon for ALL those who took part in and helped organise the Round Britain Powerboat Race of last year.

One can hardly believe that the longest and toughest offshore powerboat race to have taken place anywhere in the world over the last 25 years actually happened a year ago. So, to celebrate our first anniversary of the race we will be holding a celebration lunch on Sunday the 28th June at 12pm at the British Powerboat Racing Club at the Prospect in Cowes, Isle of Wight.

Come and join us to celebrate our first year and meet up again with old friends who raced with you in those amazing days of June of last year. Places will be limited to a max of 50 so get your request for tickets in now. Superb high quality film footage of the RB08 will be shown that has not been seen before.

PM me now. Reservations will be on a first come first served basis.

I can recommend a good company called ONYX, they specialise in that sort of equipment, and the owner is a boating fanatic so I dare say he'll give you a bit of discount.

Or I can supply the equipment and you can be my little helper.

We are now opening up invitations to the reunion to ANY ex RB competitor who took part in any of the three Round Britain races. Hope to see some faces from long ago, should be fascinating.

Would have been good to go - but a summer Sunday means I will either be boating, sailing or some sport or another!
