Just to let people know who are looking for a race helmet. Me and 'er indoors did a car boot sale on sunday. We are flogging everything we own including house to live on our boat. My old Simpson Bandit race helmet was on our stall on a "Whatever we dont sell gets tipped on the way home " basis. While I was getting a burger, someone bought it and its now on ebay with 2 bids. It's not suitable for offshore anymore, having been underwater a couple of times. (sadly with my head in it) so the strap rivets and buckles are well corroded and its over 5 years old so I'm not even sure it would pass scrutineering on that basis.
