Read the rule book and follow what it says, then you'll have no nasty surprises at pre race scrutineering. Cant make an issue of something that isnt in the rules.

And if you know in your heart and soul that something isnt right, fix or change it, dont just chance that the scrutineer wont pick you up on it. Scrutineer is there for your safety not to bust your balls!
