From what I read it just means that there will be more legislation for boat users and I didn't see any mention of power boat racing at all ( could be mistaken ).
Suspect that it will just mean earlier conversations with the bodies concerned to agree a way forward that keeps everyone happy.
If that means going more offshore, all the better for the race.

On a serious note, I don't see a problem, just drive around protected areas!
About time someone started looking after coastal areas. Wish they'd do it here.
Put some planning into the amount of wind farms cropping up around the coast, I'm all for renewable energy, but we're soon going to get sick of the sight of windmills!
