Who is going to the 3C Europeans or Worlds?

Who is going to the 3C Europeans in Finland or the Worlds in Nettuno Italy??

From Finland there will be 3 boats going to Italy and probably all 7 in the Ec...

Hello Marcus....

As far as I know we are sending at least one team to Finland for the Europeans.

Old Beardy and me (combined age 113 years) in Ians B23. Looking forward to it. We may not win it, but I'm pretty sure we'll be the oldest entry.

At least its a decent size course (one of the laps being 20 miles)

Co-driver for Thomas Wrenkler in C-61 for the weekend will be "my" co-driver Claes Eléhn. My bet is that they will win!
(Hopefully Claes dont likes the Twister too much and is willing t come back into the V-24 with me )

No, but as it is a whole other boat than the other Hydrocats it´s like starting all over again with testing, balancing etc. Takes to much time atm. Think the Hydrocat will be a killer when it is 100%

Flew back from Finland yesterday, Old Beardy and Rohese still driving on their way back.
Had a fantastic weekend and met a lot of old friends still racing at the highest level in the class....notably Thomas Rosen and Thomas Wrenkler and their teams, and the French guys from corsica.

Congratulations to Marcus and Antti on 2 brilliant wins and the overall title..
We finished 4th overall, with a 3rd place in race 2. Just missed 3rd overall by 7 points. Overtook 6 Cats in one turn...Old Beardy was beside himself. Chuffed to bits.
The atmosphere was superb..really laid back and friendly and we were made very welcome by everyone. A pleasant relief from the atmosphere at some of the UK races in recent times.

Thanks Ian for asking me to go, I loved every minute.

Wishful...Crocs worked a treat.

Dave
