It does mate ...try this Part 3 we take on Servizi Fondiari or rather he takes us on. But with 180 litres of fuel too much we shouldn't have been there

Mark is still out there ...but the boat is now very ready with more work done; deflectors etc...fitted and made ready for October...plus buying spares etc...
Have to say it was very hot in the cockpit and October sounds good to me!
I couldn't upload the final part as when Servizi Fondiari passed us mark turned angry...so watch this space as he get more competitive!!

Hi ,yep just came back yesterday, boat is ready with Deflectors ,bulkheads and lots of little other staff WPPA told us to do,never ending .but had to be done.
Rich i just seen vids, and on the first vid u see how we keep the speed on when turning wideish ,they catch up abit when the boats just behind try to cut on the inside but by the time we exit the turn they are back to where they were before starting to turn, and gradually gap gets bigger.
Yes i drained out 97 litres from one side and 85 from the other , lets say we would have used 10litres on that last lap that race got red flagged, still 172litres extra, i dont think Servitzi would have caught up with us if we had the correct fuel plus my luck of vision might have caused lack of concentration as cockpit steamed up due to wppa making us laminate 2 vent holes a few days before and air was not flowing .
But still they over took us fair and square ,they came from far back and made there way through .
Eventually we should go better when we gain experiance in generall.
fanx,
Cooolaii

Seems from the video the acceleration was good...we just lacked top end. But one thing that is clear is that the video is very valuable. WPPA are looking possibly to publish the Virtual Eye stuff online which I have a meeting about next week ...I watched it and I have to say the tracker is fantastic: they showed me a view from inside a 3D style render of our boat ...moved me inside the cockpit and I could re watch the race in 3D seeing the actual boats in front or behind us as it really happened...the boats even branded up...So apart from the timing info which is fantastic - you get a re-run where you can turn the view from all around the boat using a mouse...zoom in or out, speed up or slow.
Honestly it is incredible and capable of much more than just the little dots with Km/h and number/track that you see on the TV...
Gringo is excited about the next race and I can't blame him - it is awesome!
I didn't put up Part 4 as I don't too many people to see that I am his bitch!
