Oh if we could film 30 odd boats at various points to add to weekend footage how cool would that be?

Ok guys, this event has obviously hit a spot and the entries are fantabulastic but there has to be a limit. On our initial flyer we stated that 14th August was the limit for guarantee of food but it is now becoming apparent that we now have to consider the physical limit of boats we can cater for.

As it stands we are going to see a party in the field of epic proportions and I am becoming concerned that we can cater for all the the people turning up. Essex Boatyards who are kindly providing the facilities free of charge have an attitude of "that's ok we will deal with it" which is great, but be aware that we may at any point over the next few days, introduce a cut off to manage the quantity of boats that turn up.

The advice has to be get in now or potentially miss out!

Kerry, I'm just sitting here updating the spreadsheet of ALL those intending to come and cross referencing those that have paid etc.

I hope the crouch is a little wider than I remember!

We'll be coming up the A3 from Hamble area on Sunday morning in convoy with a couple of boats if you want to tag along.

Just had a wander round the garden and taken in the activity of the plant and wildlife and added that to my observation of the rising cumulus and observation of the moon last night.

We can now confidently predict that we will see very light winds and temperatures exceeding 25 deg although we expect the party field to become very wet.

We're attempting to solve the last one by installing a swimming pool for Andymac to stand in for the duration of the event.

I will be towing my RIB from Devon on the Saturday, I will speak to my father to make sure it's covered in Powerboat & RIB Magazine. If any wants to go in convoy, I am happy to meet en route.
