CHRISTMAS CRUISE - 15th December 2012

Hi Ladies and Gents/Boys

Zapcat is under new management and we are planning a cruise before the winter really kicks in.

On the 15th December Zapcat and Piranha RIBs have organised a Christmas cruise which will be an all day/evening event which will be running from Sparks Marina, Hayling Island (Piranha Bar), boatsandoutboards.co.uk will also be there to support the event. The plan is to meet in the morning for coffee and bacon rolls and then the zapcats, RIB's, jetskis and other craft will be taking a cruise to gun wharf keys. Following this we will be eventually heading back to the Piranha bar at Hayling for a Christmas dinner. You are more than welcome to join us, the more the merrier!! If you would like to come along please let us know so that we can organise how many bacon rolls we need to prepare.

Please click on the link below to find out more details.

Oops. Really hate to put a spanner in the works, but jet skis and pwc are not allowed in Portsmouth harbour.

christmas cruise

Thanks for the heads up Ring Master, we have spoken to the QHM and they have said they are happy for us to enter as long as we keep to the small boat channel on the western side and radio through on channel 11 to seek permission to cross.

Obviously there is the speed restrictions which we will have to adhere to.

QHM have said we need to ensure we have berths at Gunwharf Quays. We have just phoned Gunwharf again to confirm our berths and check on the rules of PWC's and it seems you are correct, no PWC's are allowed in Gunwharf Quays.

We will still proceed with the cruise however we make alternative arrangements for the jetski's.

If you would like to join us you are obviously more than welcome.

Thanks again,
James M

Hi James. Could defo pop over to Hayling for bacon and egg, hangover permitting!

I'm sure a few of the bots will pop over too, and maybe get a boat or 2 in.

Stef.

It's looking pretty windy for Saturday so we will see how it goes on getting to gunwharf, however we will still be out in the water!!! Probably hopping between nice warm public houses, may stick the noses outside the harbour for those feeling daring enough to do so.

Hope to see you tomorrow

oh yes we went out. We only briefly went outside of the harbour to play in the waves and it was good fun!!

Then we decided to play safe and hop between various warm pubs in the harbour.

Good day had by all!!

can't wait to go out and play again now
