Thread split from 'I'll race you'

Mebbe next season we should have a 'Boatmad dash' say, Poole-Cherbourg, we did a P-C dash back in '96, should have done it in under the hour, but only managed 66 mins.

That would be cool, Poole to Cherbourg, overnight in frog, back the next day.

over 60......economically

more is a bonus..........remember i'm a panzey so it'll take me a while to get some confidence.

Robbie slug wants us both to die...........hes not stopped going on about a 300X since i told him what one was! However (whilst i could prob afford import an older 300)......Toffen reckons 12gph@4000 and others inform 30+gph@WOT

that empty a 120L (or so) quickly!!! And its most likely i dont want to go that fast.................yet!

actually i pm'd Jon earlier, a 3.0L whether in be 225/250 or even a 300PM circa 99......could be a cheap buy....from my initial research.

anyone you'd recommend to call either side of the pond?

this is one place i had in mind.....they have a sister company whose site is down....but have more stock.

the 225pm looks cheap.....but would require some beautification.
the 300pm would be cool.....but i'd need to pay hardball on the price!
