Not too sure of timings yet, am assuming the most popular thing would be afternoon / evening.

Who's intending to come along?

Having started 'grazing' early afternoon, by the time Peter & Carolyn turned up with some smashin looking burgers & buns, I was way to too stuffed to try them. Next time maybe.

After discussion with a few people we have decided to have a bit of a change round this year and set out below is what we propose. Any suggestions for the cruise would be gratefully received. Cost of the event and more details will follow in the next few days.

Weekend of Power boating – 7th & 8th of August.

For those who wish to see the Cowes Fireworks on the evening of Friday 6th it would make a great start to the weekend.!

We propose:-

Saturday – Cruise organised by Drivers Power Boat Club – destination still to be decided (weather dependant I am afraid)

Saturday Evening – Party, live music, BBQ and Strawberries and ice cream

Sunday – Bacon Butties breakfast – Drivers Dry Berthing/Boatmad Poker Run – all 5 stops in one go there will be no stopping for lunch. – Back to Drivers for the game and more food and drink and the money for the lucky winner. This should be a relatively early finish as we know everyone has to get back home so we should be all done and dusted by 6 pm.
