I wasnt exagerating at all, the tender was supplied with the Sunseeker and goes in the back I am sure Sunseeker dont provide crap.

Me dads boat is so big that it would be a bit lonely on your own so we tend to go out with a crowd I am sure it was a bit of a squeeze with 8 on your blow up toy.

I never owned an XR3 or any other ford car if thats what your refering too but i guess it takes one to know one.

OK. You're right. I am at the end of my tether. I need a drink. I think it's the influx of Lakes registered boats we've had up here. They all seem very surprised that the sea gets bumpy. Seven tow ins in the last two months all out of the goodness of my heart and only one of them offered me a drink.

The next one loses his boat.

JUst as a point of interest, 4 out of the top 5 boats in the Formula 200 class are RIBs! Silversurfer - I appreciate you hate RIBs, but you would be welcome to come out in our new 5 seat version of the race boat any time - it's even got proper seats!

I like your rib cookie and there is a poster of it in the Fortescue Inn! If I had a good enough trailer I would bring the revolution down to Salcombe oh well maybe next year - its a 7 hour trip!

Cookee - bit confused - from the pdf's that Matt's posted it looks like one 1 out of top 5 F200 is a RIB (yourself) - the rest being 3c boats?

John G - Anything with a "R" in front of it's number is a RIB - Anything with a "C" in front of it's number is a Class III boat (no tubes!)

Jon - As I said, just a point of interest, my personal belief is that hard boats and RIBs are not better or worse than each other - just different, it's easy to catagorize the boats and the people that drive them as many of the above fit the stereotype, and that applies to both types of boat and owner!

I would like to think that our new boat is the best of both worlds in some peoples eyes as a cross between the two types of boat, but it's still a RIB, albeit with a hard nose and very tapered tubes, and as such will not be liked by some people on a matter of principle!

Back to the racing, I think that the results in Ramsgate had a big part to play, where it was rather rough and many of the Class III fleet either finished very far back or not at all, so I think that if yo wanted to pick a reason for the results being the way they are, I would say it would be because of the reliablity and performance in rougher conditions, coupled with the abilty to keep up in the flatter races.

I would treat the results with a pinch of salt though - I am not at all certain that they are 100% correct as they are, hopefully they will be correct at the end of the season!

All the best to everyone at Cowes, and I hope we get to run all 3 races!
