Lets hope so... but I'm taking the plane .. far safer. Did it in 80 something and seemed a long way in a straight line... Anyway I'm going to be at my mates Sunseeker in the main harbour with copious amounts of Champagne, females and Havana Cigars for any Boatmad member who wants to join us - bring it on!

This Saturday and Sunday. 11th and 12th September.

BTW Ciao since when did you decide to use my boat to pimp from!

The French wine Bar is called in Le Cru, which is the one Jon mentioned. Just have to grovel to the Harbour master to get a mooring in Victoria Marina.

excert from www.seaguerney.com (free mooring btw)

2 - 11 September 2005
C. I. Traders Guernsey Regatta
The Guernsey Summer will last longer in 2005, as we celebrate our French Connections with a fabulous festival of Franglais. Designed as a classic mix of maritime music, heritage and world-class seafood, the first C.I. Traders Guernsey Regatta will run for 10 days. Ogle, inspect and enjoy historic and contemporary Boats and Bateaux, join in the Musique and Dance till late every night, and Eat Bien throughout the Island. Our Regatta will be an eclectic mix of all things nautical. Look out for the SeaGuernsey Trawler Race and dont miss the high-octane action of the worlds largest offshore powerboat fleet as it go head-to-head in the Condor Ferries Honda F4SA Guernsey Grand Prix (10-11 September). Visit the Model Boat Grand Prix de la Manche for some miniature maritime marvels, or learn about mans unending fascination with the deep at our Historic and Extreme Diving. Dont miss our very own extreme sport,

The Cycle Soumarine (3-4 September), when bicycling frogmen go mask to mask at La Valette, Guernseys Victorian seawater bathing pools, for an under water cycle race. Enjoy it all, afloat or ashore, from sea shanties to pop music and the Harbour Proms, the C.l. Traders Guernsey Regatta guarantees plenty to see and do, whatever your interest.

Unfortunately, I have broken the boat. So I will not be able to go to Gurnsey

But!!

Why not organise an end of season Gurnsey Rally for the boatmad crowd. Crossing the channel with mates wouldbe less daunting, and we can look after any problems if we are in a group!

I put the year I was expelled, not the official leaving year.
Anyway at least I didnt put "Tax exile" on my profile, being a "tax exile" you will be able to afford to stand dinner at Da Nellos, 1000 litres of fuel..and copious ammounts of booze!
