It's not going to be short but also not too long as to cater for all types of boats as the majority of legs will be held offshore. All in all it's coming together nicely

Results for both the poker run and concourse de elegance trophy and then party time should be an awesome atmosphere!
Sunday will be fun too as it's literally going to be a show off, fun and ski day!
There should not be any rush to get home as it's a bank holiday Monday that follows! Plenty of people staying the Friday evening too so it's all looking like an ace weekend!

I pull my phantom 21 and my fishing boat out up there with my front wheel drive car with no problems at all mate, even at low water when it's raining so your van will easy do it! It's surprisingly grippy!
I will pull it out for you if you are not confident but there will be plenty of 4x4s there too!

What was the weather like back home?

Mike

Only private slips, that's the only public one!

Don't worry we will get you in one way or another

With it being cobbles they are grippy with some being slightly uneven!

Are you coming the morning of the run? Or Friday?
Same question to you Jason?

No probs, I will meet all that come on the day at the slip and once everyone is ready I'll take you all to piel! This will give you chance to drop your camping gear etc and then I'll give a quick brief before we all set off

It never empty as such but on a 10 meter tide it's low, they rarely come but even so we just go out an hour before or after!
At piel you are always ok, just take it easy in the moorings but you can blast it in the shipping lane as it's min 20 ft deep!
You can either beach or leave your boat on a mooring, plenty of dinghys inc mine to get you back to it aswell as the piel ferry!
I am going to try and get one to run just for us!

Your welcome anytime although I'll be putting my boat away next month as I want to do bits and bobs on them

Update

Ok can the people who want the rooms at the venue please call the ship inn on 07516453784 (Steve or shiela) and pay the required deposit! Please say you are on the poker run when booking and please also let me know when it's been done or if you don't want the room any longer as there is people that do!

This is going to be one hell of an event which has people coming from all over the country with some very special boats!

The event is very nearly finalised which brings me onto the point of collecting entry fees, this will be done sooner rather than later as numbers will have to be capped so it guarantees you place on the poker run!
It's £30 for the whole event which includes entry to the event and evening entertainment! There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place poker hands! Aswell as to the winner of the concourse de elegance trophy that's kindly sponsored by riverside powerboats.
As previously mentioned it's a none profitable event and all in aid of the rnli which is a fantastic cause and a valuable organisation as I'm sure you will all agree.

Can all entrants please send me there email adresses so I can send the entry forms, rules and means of payment as and when it's required.

Mike

Great stuff, cought a glimpse of you boat and motor before, looks well and that should go some! What speeds are you hoping for?

Eye the queen will sort ya out mate don't worry about that!

Evening entertainment is still being discussed, it doesn't need to major as the atmosphere is unreal on it's own!

I will release it when it's confirmed though
