i did ask this a few months ago but as tony stated no one supported the last one so the ibcentive is not there to put the effort in...... but you never know. i guess the only way to have a chance is for people to send entry deposits to who ever is willing to sort one out. Ghe problem with the last drivers one was loads of hands up but none sent their money in.

we entered the last one that was organised and payed our fees, unfortuantley it was the weather that cancelled it and not the low entries, so i belive.

It only takes a couple of hours to get across !! I went from Salcombe last year with in my race boat and a mate in a 5.3m rib cruising around 30mph used next to no fuel.

It actually took nearer three hours as the rib was happier going slowly but it was a nice day so could have easily done it in two !!
I think our quickest was 1hr 50min when I towed my nephew on a ski out of Salcombe into St Peters Port !!

I have also found that going to Guernsey and France on same trip is more economical and dates work quite well. its around £150 to take boat from St Malo to Guernsey.
